I'm not sure where people are getting the female writer narrative from. Has handwriting really degraded so far since I was in school? The penmanship here is terrible; it slants off the horizontals and has too many poor lines to count. It has all the signs of a male's hand. Female handwriting is much neater in my experience and utilizes far loopier letters, flourishes, and cleaner flow.
And that's from someone with legendarily bad handwriting; the worst female hand I've seen was still worlds better than this.
