This is the most ridiculous fake thing I have seen in awhile. Give it to 4 Chan so they can deduce the identity of the sender.
Was it really "sent" through the postal service, though??

So the Zoo's working theory is Sumlin has a post office barcode machine?

This thread is depressing.
No that is your theory, apparently.

Zoo's theory is finding out where it came from and who sent it.

Apparently, huh. It has a postal barcode. How did it get there? Either really "sent" or what, counterfeited?
No post mark. No cancellation on the stamp. The bar code can replace the postmark, not the cancellation.

Since you are the self-appointed postal worker genius, please enlighten the rest of us why our mail is different from the sample offered.

I'll wait.

i'd say there is a 99.9% probability that is not a legit letter from an Ag. but as we learned sunday night that means it still could be.

It's a simple question.
Why was only one machine working? Is that the question? Pretty sure some TexAggers have received some mail from the hurricane Harvey affected area. Look at the mail. Is this what you see???

I haven't in mine. Legitimate question.
Cappy407
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Some similarities in the handwriting, but definitely not by the same person. Just different stroke patterns. The "r"'s are completely different. All of Sumlins have a definite top bar, the letters are all basically points. Several other differences as well. Someone already pointed out the different over/under strokes on the "You".

The missing postmark is very interesting though.

That zip code has to be 77843, which is a campus zip code. How did his wife or kid open it?
Cappy407

Someone ought to measure the size of the letter and the envelope. That's going to a tight fit based on the fold. No other wrinkles on the letter or envelope.

Legitimate answer: I don't know.

But the barcode is there. The post office applies them. Ocaam's razor.

Not making accusations, but we get these "handwritten" envelopes all of the time. The barcode usually gives it away as some mass mailings by a business. Has anyone else noticed that the handwriting on the envelope and the letter don't match?

So I have a bin on my home office that I throw all my paperwork, including mail, that needs to go in a burn barrel at the ranch.

Sifted through about 30 unopened letter - credit card apps, junk mail, charitable, political. I could not find consistency on the bard code. Some had, some didn't. Some had but it was inside the letter but visible through the plastic window. Seems all over the board.

Again history has shown these occurrences are usually faked or a deranged person sent the letter. Why do care where it came from?

When someone makes fun of me and calls me re. tard because have I deformities do I put it on twitter and implicate all people. No? I let it go. Because why? That person who says crap like that has issues and blurts something out. It does not mean the paddy wagon is going to pick me up and carry me off to ******land to give me a labodamy.

This meaningless letter should not all of a sudden be used by Sumlin to claim that A&M is a racist school and he is being unfairly treated. Now there is a reason to conjure up images of a tsunami of racist hate there on campus. Pictures will show angry white students.

Don't fall for it.
