Air raid got us 11 wins and a Heisman. We haven't run an even remote semblance of Air Raid since KK left.

I don't think it's a long term championship building philosophy, but to call what we run an Air Raid is blasphemous of the Pirate.

I would say JFF and his running ability was more of a factor to 11-2 than the scheme. Outside of that one season, and Spurrier's offense for a couple of years at UF, the SEC is truly a line of scrimmage league. I don't care much for Booger McFarland, but he has it right.

Leach with some talent would be fun to watch. He's even learned to play some defense up in the Pacific Northwest. And you can beech about him running up the score, but last night would not have happened under Leach. The bigger the lead the harder his teams play. He wants to grind you into the dirt so hard that you're worried about the game next year.

quite honestly, who has even attempted it? Basically Kentucky under Mumme is it. They weren't great but better than any time before or after.

Leech likes to run up the score. Which is what the problem was last night. No killer instinct.

I'd love to see the pirate as our coach, mainly because he'd say whatever the hell he was thinking and not be a little p u s s like Sumlin.

Yea, but he was recruiting to freaking Lubbock. He had a lot less talent than the teams beating him.

He's done well enough at Washington State to be worth a look, though I'd imagine the old Ags would never sign off on him. I'm sure several still hold a grudge over his pirate versus a soldier comment.

oh really? In 2009 he beat Oklahoma and Nebraska (under Pelini). In 2008 he beat #1 tu and a top 10 Okie State team. I'm not advocating him because I think he's too old to take over a new program but those statements are absurd.
