Dont disagree with the message, but this does nothing positive for us.
Good thing we're putting on a good face for the next coach. Im sure he'll be excited to know our regents are pure class.

I find it to be a major issue if he admits as a regent that he didn't say anything when Sumlin's agent "manipulated a much bigger and longer contract."

Exactly!!! Get rid of that jack@ss too. If he is too spineless to speak up, scru him and good riddance!!

Read between the lines guys. He hasn't (maybe still doesn't) had the VOTES to stop the contract. He did he didn't agree with it , but if he can't stop it, no reason airing out dirty laundry. Sumlin got paid off by jff and someone on the bor friend. Probably split the money. Joking!
That's why he's pissed. He's basically drawing a line in the sand and forcing the bor's to pick a side in PUBLIC
Is it classy? No. Is it professional? No. Is it going to get a bunch of wealthy, armchair qb's off their ass to make a decision? I think it just might. I like this approach. No other approach has worked. Let's try something new
He, like a lot of us, are sick of this. Sumlin is in over his head here. Good coach, but needs to be in the pack 12 or bdf. Not the sec west.
The other bor guys have to put up or shut up now. Guy has balls. If you don't like it, you're the reason we are in this position. It's time for an overhaul
Guys, a good coach will come in here and be like stoops at ou. Win fast!! We have the talent. We need the top down revamped. Bob won a natty in year two. Let's go get the best we can. Right now

SIAP, but Greg McElroy and Marcus Spears talked about this on their new show and basically said how this was a bad look for the school/program and that if they were on the board of regents they would vote Buzbee off before canning Sumlin.
I agree with them, whether you want Sumlin gone or not (I like most want a new head football coach) this could be damaging and is classless.

So, with this tweet, this clown admits that he said nothing about a terrible extension which has put the university (of which he is a leader) in a very bad position, and now rather than doing his job by quietly finding the right solution that allows A&M to move forward as seamlessly as possible, he would rather ***** about it on social media. And he's not up in arms about Curry on Twitter, but this causes him to lose it???
A&M's leaders are feckless buffoons.
With that brain trust, it has to be true right??Quote:

It certainly has plenty of places to apply one. Or a couple dozenriverrataggie said:Aztec Aggie said:

Thank you! Buzzbee isn't courageous. Hell if we blew them away he'd be first in line to suck on Sumlins junk.
We need to drain the swamp. A&M needs an enema!
bet the governor is interested to know that folks think the BOR is operated like some idiot TV island show.aggiehawg said:With that brain trust, it has to be true right??Quote:

My suggestion, for both McElroy and Spears is to lobby to get on their respective BOR (BOS in Spears' case) and learn how those governing bodies work before making such pronouncements and showing their ignorance.
You can't seriously not think this is damaging... It will affect the team negatively, affect recruiting negatively, and affect our likely future head coach search negatively. I remember many posters upset with Woodward after his comments he made about Sumlin, and those comments gained a lot of attention. This instance was much bigger and will likely gain more attention. And I think in this case I would trust the opinions' of two former collegiate football players and current college football analysts over a lawyer's. Just a guess.FishingAggie said:CE Ag 21 said:

Really? Explain the damaging part to me please.
Houston attorney probably knows damaging vs non-damaging. Just a guess
Bosses fire employees all the time. He simply said how he'd vote. That's not " damaging". Maybe not the "look" we want but neither was Sunday in the field. I'll take the calling out over that ***t play calling/coaching all day long.
