Classless. Our regents are a damn joke. Sumlin deserves a LOT of blame, but this is bush league and an institutional embarrassment.

We knew Sumlin was dead 2 years ago. Just wasting 3 years!!! How anybody could think Sumlin was guy for awhile now is beyond me.

This is a classic example of the 'Good Ol' Boy System' where you complain on Facebook about things. Man, just because you are a millionaire and have paid into the system doesn't mean you learn how to act right...

When Sumlin and his agent wanted to renegotiate his K we should have told them to F off. Win something first with your own players, in any even you have a very good K and we will reneg in last year.

The fact we have him a full buyout with no mitigating clause and the full buyout being due in 60 days from termination is absolutely beyond any comprehension of rationale and completely F'ING stupid and brain-dead. It pisses me off I am a fan of such a program that would ever agree to that.

I find it to be a major issue if he admits as a regent that he didn't say anything when Sumlin's agent "manipulated a much bigger and longer contract."

The only thing I didn't like was saying his agent manipulated a longer and higher contract. Ultimately we're the ones that should be held accountable not an agent doing his job for his client.

This. I am sure he raised objections behind closed doors. Now enough is enough, and he is letting his position be known. This puts Woodward on the spot and paints any remaining supporters into a corner. Everyone now knows he has lost support from the real decision makers.

Well, Buzbee is kind of a clown...

FIRE. SUMLIN. NOW.

Firing Sumlin is an act of mercy to Sumlin. He is self-deluded thinking tweaks to personnel, coaching, systems, training, and strategy will fix things. Letting Sumlin go is merciful because it frees him from the prison of his self-delusion that he can do this or that and things will get better. He will suffer more attempts resulting in failure. Perspective can only be gained from time away. If the AD and powers that be love Sumlin, they will free him of this trap in which he is caught... tomorrow.

And if not... more and more crap like the Buzbee post will come, and we'll have a toxic situation that is worse than what we have now. I don't see another choice.

And it's also why i have no doubt the wrong people will be in control of making the wrong decision on who the next coach is.
