That is because to make it "fair" they spent as many resources randomly testing 9th grade girls volleyball players as they did varsity football and baseball. There was only a minuscule chance that a player would be tested.

Interesting that both QB's have run over to the sidelines for the play vs getting a call or signal from the coach.

Watching the game with a group of yoakum alum and they say the qb running to the sideline is normal for the offense.

Yoakum just got hosed on a bad call. Should have been a defensive touchdown.

Yoakum got hosed on that call. Mineola fumbled at the 5, returned 95 yards for a TD. Refs say defender touched the ball while he was out of bounds to force the fumble. Mineola scores on next play. 14 point call

Canadian tx hasn't done too bad the past 10 years with 4 championships and 5 championship appearances....

Kid doesn't have a single offer ... from anywhere.

Anybody remember ju parks in Reggie's championship game? Looked like the next warren sapp. Yea, hs is not the same.

He hasn't had a lot of opportunities for exposure until last night. He's not a kid that has been to a lot of camps or clinics like the Moore boys.

You have obviously never seen him play in person. He cannot play QB at the D1 collegiate level.. I doubt he could even play QB at the FCS level.
He is a great 2A player . He has a great record and 3 state titles that nobody can ever take away from him... But those of you expecting him to be a superstar at A&M may be expecting way too much.

FYI, FCS is Division I.

You are correct that I have not seen him play in person. As a native and resident of the Brazos Valley myself (via Caldwell, TX), I have heard of him the last three years via KBTX and read about him via B/CS Eagle. For him to be the winningest starting QB in TX regardless of any level give him at least some credibility as to his ability to play QB at the Division I level (regardless if it is Division I-FBS or Division I-FCS).

What do we have to lose by giving him a shot at QB at TAMU? As I said, if it does not work out, then we can put him at UB.
