This game is intriguing. The Iraan cheerleaders had a bad accident two weeks ago returning for a playoff game that killed their faculty advisor and seriously injured several others. The remaining cheerleaders will be at the game today, although several have to sit due to their injuries.

At their playoff game last week in Abilene, they had about 1,000 cheerleaders from other schools show up in uniform to show support.

I drive through Refugio and by their stadium every time I go to see my family in Corpus. Glad to see that small town become somewhat of a 2A dynasty lately. Also have family in Yoakum.

I grew up in Three Rivers. Refugio was in our district then and they beat the crap out of us in just about everything!

Refugio has had a dynasty in the region for the past 40 years! I played against some great Refigio teams in the 70's!

football teams no longer dominated Texas football. His reply...."Phillips Petroleum is not what it used

Never understood why players that played other positions and did the kicking switch shoes. I just always wore my soccer cleats instead of the bulkier football cleats. Made it easier to go from WR or FS to K/P. Never had any issues

From my understanding he was running in the 4.7 range in camps he actually ran in. I am sure the competition he plays against makes him look pretty good. SEC talent wil be way different then class 2A football.

That kicker didn't kick soccer style so he put on the square toe/straight on shoe.
