2. USMNT World Cup
3. Everton Champions League title
4. Everton EPL title
5. Aggie Basketball

U.S. based pro sports teams are tough to get into because the leagues/owners are geographic monopolists. If U.S. based teams could be promoted and relegated, supporting a team would be more interesting. As it stands, owning the [insert major sports team] is always going to be a moneymaker no matter how bad the team sucks because they're in the [whatever pro league] next year.

I'd rather see Aggie women's basketball, softball, and soccer win a natty before any pro sports franchise. The pros are getting paid for what they do, regardless. A championship would mean as much or more to any of the Aggie Athletes, many of whom will never play or otherwise be professionally involved in major professional sports after college. I'd rather see a ring handed to those guys who had their hearts ripped out at Olsen than Tony Romo, Yu Darvish, Dirk, etc.

I want to see my favorite athlete win at the highest level possible. Saying you would rather see a college team win than an NFL team is the same as saying you would rather see a high school team win state than a college team win because there are more kids on the team who won't see the next level. And I will root for Romo till the day he retires. The dude was an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Illinois and worked his ass off to become a starter for one of the most heavily publicized and scrutinized positions in sports (Dallas Cowboy QB). If that isn't an underdog story I don't know what is.

I AM an AGGIE. I'm not a Cowboy or Texan or Ranger or Astro - just a fan. I'd love to see them win a championship but I'd trade it for an Aggie championship any day.

Ok agree to disagree. I have been a Cowboy fan longer than I have been an Aggie fan.
