All I can think of is that Johnny ****ed some of your girlfriends, wives, sisters, moms and daughters or that your wife's dildo is named Johnny and she wears a #2 jersey while making you watch her get herself off without you - there is no other explanation for as much hate as some of you have over a 23 year old former student that does things that have absolutely zero bearing on your life.

If it's not one of the above, then you have a very serious obsession issue that you need to go get checked out, because the absolute desire to see a kid fail simply because they don't fit your personal little view of how a person should act is a fugskin disease that you need to get treated for.

Or it's because he's a white kid that didn't grow up poor and you have a different set of standards for how somebody not black and not from the ghetto should act and that you have a lot of latent white guilt that the libtards have told you that you should be embarrassed of built up in your panties.

Not my problem anymore..

He's "Cleveland Brown's John Manziel" now.
not
"Texas A&M's Johnny Football" anymore..

Just glad the guy went pro so all of the bad
(almost shock-jock) press is focused on the
NFL and now the school..

Impressive that Jonny Manziel can **** anyone with his weenie in your mouth.

Citizen Reign - are you saying JFF's behavior is excusable, assuming he has an easily diagnosable, easily treated, mild mental disorder?

Can I assume you also think the "affluenza" kid should be coddled?

People like that have gone through life without adequate reality checks. Failure of parenting, whatever. The cure, or at least the first round of treatment, is a hard dose of reality. That'll come when Johnny is made aware of the fact that his talent isn't always going to trump his antics.

You're not as smart as you think you are. Until you have had children or been around people who truly have ADHD, you are not going to understand. Coddling is definitely not the answer.

Also, I'm not excusing anything. He is 100% accountable for his actions. The problem is, his actions will repeatedly be highly impulsive. And, it is not always "easily treated".

Again, I'm not stating that I know he has ADD of any sort. I was in a discussion with some friends, two of which have long careers as shrinks. Both said he fits the diagnosis to a T. Everything about him. If they were asked to diagnose him for treatment, they would start looking there first. Both acted like it would be blatantly obvious to any psychologist. Both think it brings some advantages to his on the field performance.

This. A lot of us "old" Ags resent him being immature, unprofessional, and undisciplined AND representing our school which is supposed to teach maturity, professionalism, and descipline. The bar for what constitutes a good Aggie is being lowered every time someone defends his behavior. Thank God he is more associated with Cleveland than A&M.

I can't help but wonder how this horrible public image is affecting his sponsorships as well. I haven't seen a Heisman House or Snickers commercial with him in it since the rehab incident, there's no way he can still be a draw for people to purchase Nike attire.. how long until he's dropped!?

This is probably it for him in the NFL. I doubt any teams will want to take a flyer on a player who is so public about giving zero ****s as to what his bosses expect him to do.

I know Cleveland was a clown show and Pettine an idiot, but he still should have kept his head down and done what they asked. Publicly flouting their requests is gonna be a huge red flag for any GMs.

It's pretty much Jerry or bust at this point, and my guess is that the coaches and other managers will raise enough of a stink that Jerry well ultimately pass.

The industry/media/fans/etc forgive your transgressions for the most part if you shape up and show improvement. I don't know if he is capable.

With Johnny's case, we make excuses on this board for him, "oh he's just a kid, let him have fun in Vegas." That may be the case, but he missed his Sunday morning check-in. If you recall, he did just such a thing by not showing up at the Manning Camp in college. When you look at what's happened between then and now, it's just incident after incident." One weekend in Vegas for an otherwise drama-free player, no big deal. For Johnny, huge deal.

hard to keep a sports sponsorship if you have neither any professional qualifications nor team affiliation.

If he'd kept his head down a bit more I could see him ending up in Dallas. However, my guess is that nobody else in the Cowboys management + coaching wants Johnny (and in fact they're all likely strongly against him), and I don't see Jerry going to war with them for a qb with a 79 passer rating. He hasn't shown enough for Jerry to say "screw you guys because I'm THAT convinced that this guy is the real deal. We're bringing him in."

For the record, I think the media's obsession with him is ridiculous and that a lot of the criticism is overblown (though his partying absolutely harmed his development last year), but that's the world we live in. Life isn't fair so you put your head down and deal with the circumstances you've got. Johnny didn't do that. He did what he wanted to do and flouted the coaches' expectations for him. And that'll most likely cost him a spot in the NFL this off-season.

I saw him in a Heisman House commercial during the OU/Clemson game.

The one where Mariota is asking too many questions so Tony Dorsett calls for the ice cream truck.

Johnny was crossstitching the ATM logo.

Lol @ the group think swings! So fun to see the sheep fall in line again. First it was Johnny is out of control bar guy. Next it was lol @ Cleveland and head coach **** show for giving Johnny a hard time (when he was doing decent at football). Now it's shame on Johnny again because of the 'I got a buddy who saw a buddy saw a guy' story.

I used to be sad for JFF given how much joy he provided while playing in Aggieland. Once in a generation player. Now, well I just laugh at him. It's hilarious if you just step back. Yes it sucks he was one of us but man, this guy is a massive ****** and a total trainwreck. I'm just enjoying the entertainment now. It's comedy gold. Can't wait to see what he does with his life because it sure as sheet isn't in football. CFL, maybe. I think he should open a nightclub personally.

If your shrink-fueled story is true, then he would have been diagnosed long ago before this time. He would not have made it through elementary or middle school without it being diagnosed based on what his actions would have been in school and at home. If this is true, then his family has let him down if he was diagnosed and they let him leave college early and be out on his own at his young age with limited impulse control with no one there to help him make sure he makes good choices. I do not see his family doing this based on what we have seen of them since his days at A&M.

I just see a person with an ego and unlimited money for his age, making bad choices. I used to get mad thinking the media was making a big deal out of nothing with regards to Johnny. Now I just think he will have to live with the mess and bad choices he is making. Whether he has ADHD or not is immaterial.

Let's go ski-man!
