What exactly did he do wrong??? Why is this an issue? I got that he missed his mandatory concussion meeting... for a concussion that we are all guessing was .. umms suspect. But it seems like people are trying to make a non-story into an issue. He wasn't going to play on Sunday. Other players have missed games when ruled "concussion" so that was an acceptable practice. The game had no meaning as the team already tanked. He and the organization are about to split up and they both know it.

As for as I concern, he did nothing wrong except maybe blowing alot of money away. (Hope he isn't broke like Vince in 5 years)

Still think this is a non-issue since he was all but cut from the team.

But i would not expect John to change. He is who he is. Hope I am wrong but I expect to see him out of the league in 2 years.

He will get into another team roster .. do the same type of things and get cut.. then no team will touch him. People don't change until they hit rock bottom. John won't hit rock bottom because of his family money.

Payton graduated in three years and returned after graduating to play his final year of eligibility. These are the kind of people we need to recruit and remember at our school.

If he's an athlete playing well enough to be drafted and have a professional sports career, why should he risk that by staying in school to graduate during his physical prime?

Why is he going to College? TO GAIN THE SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE NECESSARY TO GET A JOB!.

If he already has the skill and knowledge to get the job he wants, further college is at best an unnecessary delay and at worst a complete waste of time.

If the sports career doesn't work out, then go back and finish college. There is no law that says that if you didn't finish college in your 20s then it doesn't count.
