Lincoln Riley would be a great hire, but probably not him if Spav is staying. It is beyond me why you'd want Spav to stick around. He obviously has no clue how to run an offense or develop a QB. I'd trade Spav for a 6 pack of High Life, then replace his vacancy with Jim Turner. Sorry Christensen. Mix in some 3 point stance, under center plays with the 4 wide shotgun stuff and create our own version of power, run n gun - see Tom Herman at U of H.

I think you have something here.

1) When Spurrier left USCe he made it clear he "resigned", not "retired".

2) The timing of the announcement was for maximum impact at SEC Championship Game.
(therefore, not an unfinished existing contract). That means the viewers will know his name.

3) KDS probably wants an experienced SEC coach (no more 29-year old internships or up-and-comers).

At Spurrier's point in life, he can just focus on coaching instead of managing a program.
As with John Chavis, Sumlin likes to hire coaches he's played against.

So apparently the clues can apply to a lot of people.

As fun as this is you can tell he is full of s- in one of the early post where he said that him calling chavis a few days early caused a legal skirmish. Anyone that has been involved in litigation involving real money knows not to go popping off on a messageboard after the suit.

Of course he was 2/4 on calling recruits to A&M when the crystal ball favorites for all 4 were to A&M. That was impressive.

The first post said the name is huge.

Therefore someone like schottenheimer or any long name could work, as in the name of the man itself is big. Remember he claimed the first post says it all.

Rojo has referred to his sources as "friends in low places" in most of his claims. I wouldn't take it as being a clue to this hire.
