Just saw an interview with Spurrier - who reiterated that he was resigning and not retiring....when asked why, he said he's not done with football....maybe as a HC, but lots of other football ...

Hopefully, Sumlin is on the phone now.....

I think the most likely scenario is to promote Christensen, as I think that's what Sumlin sold him on to sign the dotted line.

I think he had done quite a bit in terms of improving the skills and technique of there offensive line. He also is partially the reason why Mizzou was so darn good at their horizontal running game.

When you lead off the topic with "yeah its dumb, and I'm the dumbass that brought it up," I don't know why you expect the topic to be taken seriously. Ridiculously unlikely and impractical scenarios aren't sports talk....its just fantasy and nonsense

Interestingly enough they just discussed Spurrier being a consultant on offense for ALA or A&M around 8:40ish with OB and Bock.

So while it might be an unlikely scenario it is possible.

I lead off like that because the scenario is unlikely but wanted takes on it. I got what I asked for...

I have never liked how he treated his QB's. I also haven't found his offenses to be cutting edge or anything desireable.
