Yes, it was a terrible call. Pass into the most heavily defended middle of the field where only a million things can go wrong, when they had had success running, and even Russell could've probably walked it in himself off a fake hand-off to rb up the middle.

Just hope Congress isn't equally tired of Brady/Belicheck, decides to pass a "Football Fairness for All Americans" Act, and we see the Browns and Lions next year - regardless of their records - because, after all, those two teams have never been to the SB.

That play gets called and run successfully every dam week in college and the NFL. Hardly ever gets picked. Is either a catch or a drop and occassionally interference. Was an awesome play by the DB to see the pick play coming and jump the route. On this, there can be no debate.

Yeh, there was one NCAA team in particular, who would've run that exact play last year, with same result, and this board would've exploded (for some strange reason).

You mean how that thug Bruce Irvin on the Seahawks started punching Patriots players, and then the Patriots players defended themselves? Notice that only Seattle was penalized. Sore losers in the worst way.
