At least he won't know that they lost until tomorrow or saturday

YEAH!!!
quote:Do both feet have to leave the ground to be a launch? It looked like he was preparing to launch, but I can't really tell if his feet left the ground.quote:How can you not? The guy slows down, sets his feet, and launches from low to high finishing at or around the kickers head/neck. How on EARTH can our players consistently get ejected for hits far less egregious that this?
I see a launch
quote:True enough, but if it's not glaring/clear, don't make the call.
And it is very easy to watch on tv & through gifs and say foul/no foul
Live, that is a tough one in my experience

Hope he gets a blowey tonight for his heroism. Some guy who really knows what he's doing. . .

I'm shocked the Baylor faithful are not up I'm arms about this. Wouldn't this call have given them a first down and had the spartan ejected? That would have changed the result of the game.
I'm glad baylol lost but texags would be on full meltdown if this happened to Lambo.
quote:Banged up, with a sense if humor... He skrong to
He Alive
quote:I wouldn't have thrown either.quote:
So you are agreeing that the hit was just to hard then? So now the rule should be interpreted as, let me run home to mommy because I got hit to hard?
Sheesh if that's the case we should just end all downfield blocking too.
Understand, I don't like the fact that the powers that be are making big hits illegal. The reasons are good & bad IMO. I am just relaying what the book says. There is a judgement factor to flag /noflag.
I stated I probably would not flag it. But it COULD have been flagged based on the book as I see it.
It's not personal

quote:If you're talking about the baylol kicker,
He was defenseless as a kicker during a return yes? Blind side or not.
quote:Only took one game to beat it.
It's going to be hard to beat that for gif of the year and it's only the first day of the year!
quote:The language is to protect Ks, not PKs. The moment he went after the ball carrier, he ceased being a PK anyway and became a defender.
He was defenseless as a kicker during a return yes? Blind side or not.
