If 9-10 is Jumior High, what is 6-8? Double Junior high?

I'm sure this made sense in your head, somehow.

Allen having one large school was originally based on good intentions but now I think it is kept this way due to pride and the egos of the Allen residents. Think of all the kids that can't play their sport b/c the competition to make the team is too stiff... I don't think it is in the kids best interest.

Exactly my thoughts. To me there's a sweet spot in the 400-600 per class range where there's lots of activity choices without being ultracompetitive in every sport.

It's sad that Allen's offense is more creative and multiple than A&M's

Once upon a time, yes. My parents moved to Plano in 1966, when it was a small 2A town

Plano set the benchmark for football prowess. Now long forgotten, since it is landlocked and split into three schools. Still, Rex Burkhead...

I'm pretty sure Allen hasn't beaten any teams except Auburn and Louisiana Monroe.
