So what I gathered from this is Bama DC spot > most HC gigs. Tamu DC spot < most middle of the road HC gigs. And that we should get a conference USA DC rather than go for a SEC DC.

No, what I'm saying is if he wants to go back to a DC job, it would be to rebuild his image a la Kiffin, and would go back to Sabin as he has a comfort there as compared to Sumlin. My guess is he would rather be HC ahead of any DC, but if his choose the DC route, he would wait, since he would make more money sitting out from buyout than getting 6 figure as DC.

Also, yes I think Houston DC is a perfect fit since he lives on creating turnovers, I think Houston leads or is in the top 5 in turnovers, and he has a NFL pedigree as he was DC for Cowboys, Texans, and DB coach for Eagles and chargers I think. Before you dog Houston, as I guess your to good for UofH coach's, Sumlin says Hi.

If Muschamp is available we need to throw an insane amount of money and say a two year contract at him so we 1. Get him and 2. Aren't stuck with him if he sucks.

What were their defensive stats the last couple years? One year a great defensive mind does not make.

Not sure about miss state, but OM has been good defensively for awhile.

Mark Snyder should get 2 more years. If he is good enough for Sumlin and Sumlin see's the light at the end of the tunnel he will be kept on anyway. Then if it doesn't work out they would probably both be replaced.

If it has to happen next year then KS is probably looking at someone like Gibbs currently at UH...... Muschamp probably ain't happening and the idea of Chizik is interesting but who knows if he can recruit?
