How should I discipline her?

Maybe it was an accident?

I have TWC and we turn off the TV... when we turn the TV back on, it is on the LHN. It is really weird like someone sneaks in and changes it. I'm guessing it helps their ratings. But we'd literally turn off the TV knowing it was on a certain channel... and the next morning it is LHN.

LHN is a part of the sports package I have on Uverse.
At home I put the parental lock on it. With the secret code of 0666 required to unlock it. I also did the same to MSNBC and CNN too.

As a child, I was inadvertently abused by my parents who bought me burnt orange clothing and t.u. memorabilia. Additionally, I was exposed to the evils of Wolf Blitzer and Chris Matthews. All evils that no child should have to be exposed to.

Even worse, I turned on the tv and it was on LHN. That means one of my roommates must've been watching it

It's been my experience the maids change channels and watch television while remaking the bed.

You could tell her the millenial parent way of, "Now sweetheart, you know you are precious to mommy and daddy, and even though you did a no-no, we may have to give you a 10 secong timeout if you do that again. And if you do it again, we might have to give you an even harsher punishment of 20 seconds timeout, in the corner. And you know it hurts mommy and daddy very much to do that to you."

And now you can call yourself a parent of the new century. Ain't life just peachy?

you could switch to one of the many other providers that carry the secn and not lhn.

That's a real shame. Because, showing back to back year beatings of the sips by the good Mormon boys would actually reveal some rare integrity from LHN/sips.

Why is nobody addressing the white elephant in the room which is an epic failure of parenting by the OP? Had he done his job right his child would have immediately slapped the other kid upside the the head when the channel was changed to the LHN and then switched the channel to the SEC network.

The only honorable thing OP can do would be to go over to Syria and throw yourself at the mercy of ISIS. Perhaps Allah can forgive you but Texags cannot.

You guys are coming at this all wrong. The LHN is a wonderful thing, first the content is so horrible it becomes comedic, on par with Comedy Central. Second the longer the network stays up the longer the sips are stuck in the big 12, the fewer recruits they get, and the deeper their hole of irrelevance goes. My first cable box auto tuned to MTV. So take comfort that someone does have worse taste in television.

And as previously stated... You can change the preset.

I watched the LHN last week, on purpose. They were inexplicably replaying the BYU game (because that's gotta be counter productive...) and I had missed it the first time around. Gotta say, I enjoyed myself.

This. I started changing the auto preset channel to the SEC channel for all T-sip/tcehie acquaintances just for the hell of it.

And it did make you stronger for it. Sometimes, it is good to expose children to some to the "evils" of the world to educate them as to why it is evil.
