Whether you like NASCAR or not, there are going to be a lot of eyeballs on that Aggie Engineering car this weekend! Jeff Gordon is still a very popular driver so there also may be a few t-shirt sales that put a couple of bucks back into the athletic department.
I saw the comments above. I am an engineering grad (class of '82) that happens to like and watch NASCAR. This is pretty cool to me and I will put the car on a bookshelf in my home or office.

For those of you that don't see the marketing behind this you are idiots. NASCAR is one of the most watched spectator sports in the country. Plus its huge in the SEC footprint. Great idea on TAMU's part whether you like racing or not.
