Doubtful we get new uniforms. We already know about the white jersey and this picture just tweeted by the equipment staff shows them packing maroon helmets

But what about the bevel though?
You may well be right, brick, but don't underestimate TAMUequipment's propensity for misdirection. I only see one helmet visible. It could be one they intentionally put in plain sight to throw us off the scent.

The adidas football us page on Facebook shows us wearing white pants with a new sleeve design in their cover photo!
New base layer?
TAMUEquipment threw us off before the Miss St game. It's happened before. The cat is out of the bag in terms of a new-look uniform, the only question is how drastic the change will be.

It's going to be what is in the picture. It already shows the yard lines on the pants and the Texas logo on our sleeves. The other uniforms in the picture have been released.
I'm not sure how much I like the 40 yard line graphic being printed onto the stomach of the jerseys.
Still doesn't show what the helmet logo will be.
I agree with AgCrag, the 40 yard line implies mediocrity. That's not even within field goal range! 10 yard line or GTFO.

Just dumb. Why do we need an embedded mural in/on our uni's?
Those are only overlays on the photos. If they were real, that Wisconsin player on the right just got his arm cut off (he looks like he's screaming in pain).
Here's the white helmet with the cotton logo maroon. It's a bit too busy IMO, which is why I made it gray in my original concept.

You're right that the yard lines/numbers are an overlay and not part of the uni (can't believe people thought they were). However, the thing "severing" the Wisconsin player's arm appears to actually be a sweat band.

A good amount of college bball uniforms have "murals" built into the mesh on the back of their uniforms. Duke & t.u. immediately come to mind... Though they are bball, and Nike, it's not far-fetched to think someone may try this on football costumes...I mean uniforms.

Interesting that the base layer does not have the two stripes on it, maybe the shoulder stripes are going to be different for this game, possible cotton bolls like the ones from the 80's cotton bowl jerseys?
Ol' Sarge is finally making his return.
The idea of the cotton intertwined with the aTm could look great. I liked what Wisconsin did with the rose bowl last year, something like that would have a nice look.

It kinda makes sense, since many players don't wear the base layer anyway. This way, the striping is consistent on ALL players, and the base layer is simply an additional element for the players who wear it.
