Dodds was quoted at a public function yesterday saying "We helped the Aggies pack, then we helped them unpack."

No clue if this is true or not or what function he was speaking.

True, they also said we are going nowhere,Big talk among the longhon faithful(It was a longhorn Foundation meeting) was that if Aggies deal goes thru ,that they would cripple us again with NCAA allegations to slow us down even further. This is not Baylor wanting us to fail, it is a "pissed off" Deloss and company, Baylor is their pawn.

Anyone that thinks it's Texas behind Baylor's actions is actually a conspiracy theorist that will blame anything on Texas. It's akin to many in the middle east and their crazy thoughts about the U.S. Baylor is desperate, sees the end of their BCS-conference affiliation and is pulling out all the stops.

UT and OU are in on this as well. they don't want to lose the gravy train and have to start competing on a level playing field to make it to a BCS/MNC game.

Baylor just has more to lose.

JTaylor- So if Dodds comments are true, wouldn't that confirm they are involved? Even if they aren't true, the sips have nothing to gain, and quite a bit to lose by our departure. They were awfully smug when Dodds was promising to replace us with Notre Dame and the Denver Broncos. He can't deliver anyone. It seems the only people who don't realize/admit this are sips.

Cool the rhetoric for a second and think about how that doesn't make sense. Not that A&M has been some sort of power but why would they hold up A&M leaving as a way to ease up their path to the game? They would just say goodbye, not pressure Baylor on anything, and continue in the same conference. What you're saying is simply not logical. To me, it simply means that Dodds was okay about the departure, and okay about the return.

I agree with the above poster if it is true what he said. But right now, I don't know what to think. So many conspiracy theories. I know this has turned ugly and nothing at this point would surprise me. It's political and a dirty, dirty game. I will just be glad when this all resolves and get back to bithing at each other about on the field stuff.
