Dodds did not say it, it was just as i said talk among Longhorn Faithful. I know that we as a group and a University, seriously underestimate the powers that be ,at the university of texas. we often laugh it off and say that it is "Paranoid thinking", but we always manage to let it come back to haunt us. I was just posting what I overheard at the meeting, to let you know the way that our opponents think and operate, and the folks talking in that room are influential Lawyers, politicians ,lobbyists, and Judges. They are serious in their tactics.

Sounds like vintage Dodds, and like always, he doesn't seem to care about the implications of this statement:

1) He told us if we left the conference they'd refuse to play us.

2) He 'helped us pack and unpack,' implying they ended the rivalry intentionally.

I don't think that's actually true, I think he was just talking trash (or at least "a sliver" of trash), but he does not seem mindful of implications of his trash talking. Jerk.
