my brother has a dog that is the spitting image of smokey - that dog is very lovable & sweet, but seriously is dumb as a stump

'course I've heard Rev ain't brilliant, neither.

We need a Dog that can murder the hell outta Smokey and UGA (and Bully), not go bark to Uncle Willis because Timmy fell down the well...again!

We wanted German Shepherd but couldn't afford one and had to settle for the Collie. Time to fix that!

But to answer the question, Rev will do what she's trained/told to do. I don't know anything about Smokey, but Uga seems to just ... be. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'm sure any butt-sniffing pictures would be online within seconds.

Uga is a lazy pig who really exerts himself to just breathe and lay on the ground. He won't know Reveille exists, much less cause any trouble.
(If I were a dog and looked that ugly, I'd have a major depression, too).

Bulldogs are one of the least intelligent, most docile breeds of dog. Nothing to worry about there. And, Rev is bigger than Smokey. In fact, she'd be the biggest dog in the SEC.

Anyone remember, I guess about 10+ years ago, when rev was up on the YMCA building with the BQ Zips and Yell Boys, as soon as the band started playing, she freaked out and ran off the side of the Y? I felt bad because I knew it had to hurt falling that far, but it was still pretty funny!

Reveille is cool, but next time at least get a hound and not a *****. Smokey is a Blue Tick Hound. That's a coon dog for anyone who didn't already know that. Seriously though if the Collie is not a breed you guys have enshrined then next time go to something like a German Shepherd, Great Dane or Mastiff hound and don't neuter it.

I was in school the year Rev jumped off the steps at the YMCA building. If I'm not mistaken, she hurt her back pretty bad when she did it.

That Rev always had issues though. She had behavioral issues and I think she had frequent seizures too.

Not at all, that's a pure Bluetick Coonhound. Great hunting dogs.

And I don't think Reveille is bigger than Smokey at all, just hairier. Bluetick Coonhounds can go 50-60 pounds and they're athletic as hell.

The official Texas state dog is a Blue Lacy. We have one. He's great for herding the cows, but he needs alot of exercise. Very smart dog, easy to train.

I'd like to see us with a black Cane Corso. About 110-120 pounds of pure muscle, like a pit bull but twice as big.
