Just make a couple of dvd's of the incident, including photos of the damaged camera. Send a dvd to Nebraska including the bill for the camera, and threaten legal action if they don't pay up. Then send a dvd to the Big12 office, with an explanation of the events, stating you expect Nebraska to pay up, and suspend Pelini for a game.
I want to know what Brandon said to him....obviously it was enough for Carl to turn around...

ok Brandon removed his explanation when they changed the first post. Brandon forgot the mic that goes on the camera when trying to go down on the field to get shots of the crowd, that's the only reason there is no audio.
With that many celebrating ags on the field, the audio was probably just white noise anyways.
At any rate, nothing Brandon could have said warrants that kind of retaliation...I don't care if he was talking about Pelini's mother. That is just not how a grown man should act, ever.

Best route would be some behind the scenes AD to AD talk that gets this sorted out. I'm sure Byrne will be happy to do Brandon a favor, and ask for favors from Brandon sometime down the road.
Its not very smart to start hurling threats at NU. Knowing how low brow Carl is he could very well decide to go on the attack with NU's legal team.

I am very anxious to hear what my father-in-law's views are on all of this as he grew up in Nebraska and is as big of fan as there is.
For me, I think the Pelinis are a joke. If I was Nebraska, I would take action against them, maybe a suspension, or eventually even termination. They are HORRIBLE representatives of the university. It makes me appreciate Sherman's integrity even more.

you seriously think brandon of all people was TRYING to antagonize the defensive coordinator of a team we just beat??? why on EARTH would that even be a thought in his head? A&M just laid the defensive beat-down of a lifetime on NU, NU embarrassed themselves in both conduct and play, and you think Brandon ran onto the field to talk smack to an assistant coach while thousands of aggie fans were celebrating on kyle field???

Heck he could have said, "Hey Pelini, you suck and your team sucks. You have an ugly face and I'm fairly certain you are of the homosexual variety." Frankly he could have said anything, but words never warrant provocation unless it's clear that Brandon was about to do something, which since Pelini went for the camera and not for Brandon, I'm pretty sure he didn't.

If it had been a player (think Oregon's Blount last year), wouldn't it have already been all over the sports highlight reels? If this isn't national news by the end of Monday, either Brandon doesn't want it to be, or I'd suspect something fishy.
Oh, and Brandon's very smart to not post anything besides the video and a neutral "see for yourself." If he's talking to lawyers, he knows that anything else he posts can't help him, but could hurt him.
