Gives me something to look forward to. Keeps me on a schedule. I chase people on the leaderboard at times which helps push me.

I would guess that before 'rona, I may have done 3-4 live rides. But since spring break, I probably do 3-4 a week including encore rides with a fresh leaderboard.

Sam Yo is riding in 8 min, btw. Hop on.

Spoiler alert: for those who didn't see it, Matt Grevers (Olympic swimmer) won big. Wikipedia says he's 6'8" 240 lbs.

Unfortunately no. Just focused on total output and occasionally gave glimpses to their cadence/resistance numbers

I agree. Rory's 161 pounds, Grevers and Macfarland are 280 and 240. Hayward Is 225 - all according to Wikipedia.

I also wish we had knowledge that every bike was calibrated there same - that could be a huge difference.

Only had the bike about a month but really like it.

Just about done with all of the discover the bike program classes.

Seen it here and on the screen, but how do I access the FTP test?

Just type in "FTP Test" in the search bar in the upper right, and 11 classes should pop up. All 20 mins long. I took the latest one (Matt Wilpers from 1/30/20) when I tested last.

It's a good idea to take one of the ten minute ftp warmup classes ahead of the test. They will explain what to expect and give you a chance to figure out what level of output you want to target during the test.

In only 6 months i went from never having liked spin class to really missing my bike (I went to Florida for the rocket launch last week). Glad to be back this evening and ready for my century ride later this week!

Have been rolling through the learn the bike 6 week program to get exposure to the majority of the instructors.

Like Wilper, Dennis, Emma, Aly, and Alex best.

Can live without Robin, am meh with Jen Sherman and don't like Cody at all.

Still have a few instructors that I haven't done classes with yet.

Jenn grew on me, not too motivational and has a lot of fun. For how much I dislike Cody's playlists I've set more PRs with him than anyone else.

My wife LOVES Cody lol. I'm more of a fan of the PZ instructors, with some Alex Toussaint thrown in for good measure. Kendall Toole is legit, too.

Don't think I've done a ride with Kendall yet.

Not a super fan of Jess either, but she is smoking hot though.

Tunde (spelling?) was good but the ride she led was an easy one.

Really liked the Wilpers class, and the rides with Dennis and Emma were my best out put numbers so far.

Wife and I jumped in today. Do y'all use bike shorts? I used my normal LG cycling shorts, and with the padded seat, I think it was too much. Had some numbness down yonder.

Anyone swap out the seat? Already changed the pedals to Look Keos to work with regular cycling shoes.

I joined the TexasAggies group, and I'm lining up some classes based on the thread. Excited to be less of a schlub.

FYI - i never swapped the pedals. The Keos will fit, even though they aren't supposed to.

i also haven't been on our bike in forever. wife uses it regularly, but i've had motivation issues getting on it lately.

I can't make it today, but congrats on 100! I hit 60 consecutive days today and rode with quite a few Aggies this morning in a PZ ride. It was cool to feel the love!

Can't do 9AM on Sat, but I think 3:30 will work (assuming baby isn't on the way haha).
