I'm sorry but, do you REALIZE that there are people who go to ivy leagues and are low-income, first generation??? It's crazy that people forget low-income, first generation students can actually get into these institutions and attend with large scholarships??? I've NEVER had anything handed to me on a silver platter. To put things in perspective, I currently work as a substitute teacher on minimum wage! And again, this car was not for me, but for my significant other who is in a master's program and needs a car to travel to school. We wanted to get a new car to make sure we wouldn't have problems with it until years down the road. The loans from my boyfriend's masters program were going to help with these monthly payments. Honestly, I'm just completely baffled at the fact that once you hear someone has gone to an Ivy League, you either (1) think they come from money or (2) think are ****ty human beings. Your comment speaks volumes to who you are in real life.
