She probably would have appreciated being treated with respect from his worthless employees.

I mean this isn't a one off deal. This seems to be somewhat of a trend. Someone visits a keating dealer and issues arise so they post here. Posters get up in arms about never using keating. Problem is eventually resolved and everyone is happy, sings kumbaya, good on you for acknowledging, fixing, and hopefully resolving the issues going forward. Wait a couple months, rinse and repeat.

I'm an "absolutely miserable person" for being upset that this whole situation caused me to lose $300+ which equates to a month of food for me??? A situation which could have completely been avoided from the start if people had been truthful and honest?? Wow. I'm sorry, but not everyone has that type of money casually lying around.
And it's not the fact that a car could cost 40k, but that fact that we came into this dealer with a set budget, only to have the employees try to upsell us a vehicle that was $7,000+ more. I think anyone in my position would have been upset.
A month of food for $300?!?

Just wait until you start paying taxes and watch some lady with a litter of kids driving an $80k vehicle whip out the Lone Star card.

She went to Brown. Ever heard of it?
Guarantee she approves of people getting as much money from the government as possible.
Why should she quietly disappear? Nobody else on here disappears when they have had their feathers ruffled...... and most (including me) don't even have a dog in this fight but yet we continue on posting like we do ...... have a dog in this fight. If it had happened to one of yall you'd have reacted the same if not worse. Yall continue to aggravate her responses when you could also "quietly disappear" . Let the lady rant and get it out of her system.lawless89 said:Kvwina said:

It'd be best for you to say that things got handled and quietly disappear. You've made your points.

If any of y'all had credit pulled and signed paperwork to purchase a specific vehicle (VIN was listed) at a specific amount, rented a car one way planning to spend an entire Saturday to pick up the car they promised to sell you, and you get there and they tell you it sold but offer you a different vehicle almost 25% more expensive, are y'all saying you wouldn't be livid? I would be. We would all handle it unique to our age and background and temperament, my reaction would be different than OP and based on my age and era running to TikTok and social media seems foreign to me but it's generational a bit. I guess the part I personally disagree with the most is going full doxxing (am I using the word correctly??) in just 24 hours without giving more effort to escalate in management and get refused help. But again - what does your livid look like? Or would you just waste $300, a whole day, ignore a broken promise, and be fine with it?
Even if I feel reaction was over the top some dealerships or just individuals at dealerships are awful and deserve this.
I don't think calling someone "entitled" is appropriate when they felt they signed documents guaranteeing a specific VIN and price, and were willing to spend the one way rental to get it. I might feel "entitled" if I signed something with vin on it and had verbal promise.

If it was any other dealership, they would probably be on OP's side but since it's Flatout, they gotta keep on dick riding cause he has cool cars.
