The Maverick has two positions for it's tailgate. The lower position has a -2 deg angel to make it easier to load. The higher position lines up with the top of the wheel wells so you are able to haul sheets of plywood.
Max payload is 1,500 lbs

Someone, please convince me I don't need this. I really really want one to replace my Cherokee. I've built mine like 5 times now on Ford's website. I still owe (not much) on my Cherokee, but really want a pickup that'll fit in my garage.

They're only scheduling 2.0L Ecoboosts right now.

No build dates for hybrid yet.
