Not mine, but I wheeled down Black Bear and over Imogene with this stranger in a 62 today….
I'm pretty sure I would sh*t my pants on Black Bear, but not at the switchbacks, up there at the top - where it looks like you're driving off into the sky.

The switchback (really only 1) is what gets all the hype, but yeah, the last maybe 1/4 mile right before the switchbacks can be sketchy, especially if wet.
It's downhill, a little off camber, loose….very doable, but there is some pucker factor.
We only backed up once on the tight switchback. 4dr Jeeps we're backing up 2-3 times

TFL guys watched a guy do Black Bear in a Raptor... it can be done by just about anything. Who knows how many points the turn was on that boulder switchback.JB said:

I have it sitting on a couple pieces of correlated plastic like what you use for a yard sign even without permanently mounting.
I don't think I'm going to permanently mount it. Too easy to unplug and throw in the back.

Less than two weeks away from leaving the South Texas flatland for a few days. In the picture, but not in view, a few days work on some simple cabinetry, the consolation prizes for losing my battle with labor day sales, and a world of hope I can keep the rubber side down.
With reddog's coaching I'm keeping all the heavy stuff inside and low. My swag tent roll will go on the roof with the some less-demanded items in the alubox, and the camp table. When the tent is up there, I bear a slight resemblance to the the Clampetts' rolling down the highway.
