One pair of Kickers on the way...soundbar first then I'll tackle the dash.

I've heard disappointingly mixed reviews about the kicker upgrade

You'll definitely need an amp. I'm having to set the volume at 24-26 to hear ANYTHING with the top off.

With it all closed up, bass no longer bottoms out and mids are actually somewhat clear.

I'm sure putting in a better head unit would go a long way too, but 4 kickers are a cheap first step.

Make sure to pack Polyfill into the soundbar behind the speaker.

I've put the kickers (not the tweeters) into the top soundbar and it makes a noticeable difference for the better. Especially given the ~$70 price to do so.

Is it audiophile quality? No But instead of the woofer breaking up trying to hit any sort of bass note whatsoever you actually get some bass and no distortion.

This is coming from the stock, base speakers.

So those rails I just put on a few weeks ago have already started showing rust spots after all this rain. Contacted Tyger to see what they'll do for me, but is there a simple fix for cleaning/fixing rusty spots on powdercoated metal? I'd really rather not take these off if possible.
