I'm not stuck in traffic anywhere near as much as I was back in SoCal, but as I drive to/from work everyday and around the neighborhood on weekends, I see some really interesting vehicles.
I don't see nearly as many of the high-end German or Italian cars as I did back in SoCal, but I do see a lot of cars that aren't sold in the US and others that have just been modified in interesting ways.
So, I've decided that for 2009, I'm going to post 1 Aussie "vehicle" picture a day. I say vehicle because I might throw in a few pictures of motorcycles, or the trash truck, or whatever I find interesting and odd. Please bear with me as this will be a marathon, not a sprint and with the prospect of posting 365 vehicle pictures, there might be some that aren't so great. Hopefully by the end of the year, I'll have 15-20 great pictures. Here are two pictures to get you started. Enjoy.
A Toyota Land Cruiser of some sort with a Snorkel. BTW - I found out that ARB is an Aussie Company.

An Audi S3. I think they just started selling A3s in the US a year or two ago. I've never seen an S3 before.

Now that I see BQ68 on here, maybe he can help me identify this piece of Yank Iron. I'm guessing it's a circa 1970 AMC AMX Javelin or something like that. Note that it is Left Hand Drive which means that it wasn't registered in New South Wales until it was at least 30 years old.
