I played it when it first opened in the late 80's and paid $80.00. Worse than that, after we played, we ate lunch and decided to play it again. Another $80.00. I want my money back!

Actually I shot 75, 78 that day.

And YES! I remember my scores because it was the first, and second, time I had played the course.

Does anyone play Cimarron regularly?
I have a few buddies that get out there almost every weekend.
They complain about it being overcrowded with no marshals outside the first hole to keep the course moving.

Last weekend it took them over 5 hours to finish… that sounds like the sux to me.

It is fairly busy over there. When I would play, it would take our group about 4.5 hours to play. But on a weekend, that is the normal play time.

Cimarron is extremely slow on weekends! The regular groups that have about 15 people in several groups, call in every Thursday morning to get their weekend tee times. If you aren't in the first few groups, you're gonna take forever to play 18. There are several groups of Asian women that walk. If you're behind them, you might as well take a cot with you.

I like to take my sweet @ss time out there.
