Mmmmm...Martinez tacos.....
Martinez is good but I actually prefer Super Tacos, just down the street.
But do they have cream cheese empanadas for dessert?
Pumpkin or gtfo.
If I am going to needlessly (but happily) inflate myself with a filled empanda it will not be filled with gourd meat or fruit!
Super Taco=close to heaven
We have been meeting for lunch at Manuel's Crispy Tacos at 1404 E 2nd St, Odessa, TX 79761 for about the last few months. (They are only open for Dinner on Fridays.) We have really enjoyed our lunches there getting items such as green chicken enchiladas, Tamales covered in chile con carne, and their special chicken tacos.
Also: the hotdog stand guy out in front of rednecks on the weekend=hot dog santa. The chicago dog is amazing. Chili Dogs just as so.
And the orange cream soda washes it all down so nicely.

We ate at Bill's Bistro this weekend. Food was good and the staff was very friendly. They are connected to the Wine Rack next to Abuelo's on Garfield.

Went out to White House Meat Market for a Green Chili Patty melt- a bit dry for my liking but I always forget about it for evenings (They are closed on Sundays and Mondays)
Has anyone tried Scotty's the new Soul food place in Midland?
Also wanting to try Addie's the diner in Midland.

I've only been there once about 4-5 months ago, but I had the house special. It was good and very filling. There's not a huge seating area, though, and since I have only been there once I am not sure how busy it gets during lunch. If it is like everywhere else, I'd try to get there by 11:30.

Are they opening already or is this just an insider thing? Been wanting to try there since seeing it on TexAgs a while back and never got the chance in Houston/BCS.
^Grub is awesome. In the short time between it being open and graduating I went more times than I care to admit. I'd compare it to the Basing Burgerhouse, but from what I remember Grub is slightly less expensive.
If you like bleu cheese, get the You're My Boy Bleu. Sweet potato fries are awesome as well and the Nutella Shake.

I went to La Bodega a few nights ago for the first time in about 3 years. They no longer allow smoking there which is why I quit going.
The food was really good- We sat upstairs at the bar and it wasn't crowded and the food came pretty quick. My Margarita was good too.
I judge Mexican Restaurants on 3 things:
1. Salsa Quality
2. Green Chili Sauce Quality (more green chili, spicy, less cream filler)
3. Margarita - more tequila and sour than sweet sugary
The food was really good- We sat upstairs at the bar and it wasn't crowded and the food came pretty quick. My Margarita was good too.

Flying back home for the weekend. Think I'm going to try to hit Wings N More, Carambas, and maybe Clear Springs. Haven't been in town since February. Have any new restaurants popped up since then? Just curious because I know Midland has been booming lately
