I've always wanted to try pho and never had the chance (or never tried in CS, I'm sure there's something there). I'm going to have to give this a shot.
Promise it was good- kind of weird that you are in a donut shop. Service was slow but I left happy. Let a the forum know when you plan to go and we can maybe get a group
Stopped in for some pho today. Y'all were right, delicious but also a pretty long wait. Husband got the #10 (beef lok lak) and it was even better than the beef pho.
Had El Buen Pollo tonight Florida St in Midland. Very good dive. Great sauces. I got a Groupon that bought 2 half chicken meals for $10. We had the spicy andregu,ar chicken. I didn't think the spicy was spicy. Try it!
A few weeks ago I tried Cafe Unique (in the San Miguel Shopping center in Midland)- where woofers and tweeters is.
It is Venezuelan food and was a great change from the typical Mexican places here. I can't remember what all we had- fried plantains and several different sampler platter. Try this place- it is a hidden Gem.
Not seeing any mentions of Jorge's... First real Mexican food I've tried so far. Loved it. Looking forward to other Mexican food places y'all have posted!
On April 29, at Barn G at the coliseum, there is a fundraiser where true Cajuns from Louisiana come in to cook some bugs. Actually really good. It's for Meals on Wheels. $35 a plate.
