If you didn't grow up in Richmond/Rosenberg shut your F'ing a$$. Believe me we hate the city kids from Sugar Land. When you can dove hunt down the road from your house and go to a bank where the teller knows you by your first name then come talk crap about Rosenberg.

I'll continue. We have it good in Rosenberg, we dont have to compete with a thousand asian kids trying to be in the top ten percent of our graduating class. I don't have to deal with a million red light everywhere i want to go. When i was highschool no one tried to show off act rich, everyone just hung out with everybody. I am glad we are not part of sugar land and i wish the two towns would stop getting closer. Roseneberg was nice as a small town and now that sugar land is creeping closer everything is goint to sh^&.

to recap, Rosenberg is great because:

1. no chingchongs
2. none of them horseless carriages getting in the way of going see George Bailey at the Building & Loan
3.lots of hillbillies that don't act rich
4.all the geeks get along

Haha. No this town kinda blows. After going to A&M for a year i realized it sucks. I just don't think people can have a decent opinion about Rosenberg until they have lived there. I also seriously hate the big city too. I can understand not living here and just driving through can give you some bad impressions. There is definitely some ghetto chit here. I'm thinking of starting a thread of all the ghetto g-rides I see around town.

I resent Sugar Land for the fact that all the home building has brought "new" illegal residents to Rosenberg. It has changed the socio-economic level of the town drastically. We got some pretty good Mexican restaraunts out of the deal but that was the only plus.

The only good thing about Richmond/Rosenburg, is that it's so close to Sugar Land.

Wes, you forgot Richmond Foods.

True, it's a blessing being next to Sugarland. We get to have a great guy like Tom Delay as our representative. Couldn't be more proud of that.
Get to watch our county be taken over by beautiful sprawling subdivisions that all look alike. What an inspiring sight. Sure is nice to see places that we used to hunt and fish be taken over by carpetbaggers and foreigners.

But at least we get to go over to Sugarland and do fun things like go to Starbucks and a myriad of chain restaraunts. It's also a real treat to go to the mall and shop w/ a bunch of spoiled rich kids and their new money parents. Wow what a paradise yall live in.

Richmond/Rosenberg has actual history and actual identity. True it's got bad areas (but then being bordered by Mo City, Stafford, and SW Houston must be nice) and we don't have fancy cars like yall, but it's a real community. Even if I'm poor in yall's eyes, I'd rather know my neighbors than not be able to communicate in English with the 5 indian families living in the house next to me.

Probably won't be in a few years as it becomes sugarlandized. Don't forget that yall are just a crappy company town and yall's company aint even there any more. When's the name change coming?

Also, it's fun to watch our highschools kick the **** out of yall's kids.

Yeah, i lived in Richmond since i was 25. I can say, you really can't understand it until you have lived there. Luckily, we lived on the outskirts of town, which are no longer really outskirts. It sucks now.

The neighborhood popping up suck. All a bunch of tiny little houses, shaped like cubes, where you can dam near reach out your bathroom window and touch your neighbors house. Looks like great fun. I see places that i used to hunt, fish, and hunt for arrowheads covered with asphalt and crappy houses. Its disappointing.

So, for the Ros Rich folks, which HS did you go to?

Quick question...

Sugar Land was ranked the third best place to live in America, where is Richmond/Rosenberg? The only reason to go into Rosenberg is Schutzles (sp?) BBQ and to get my drivers license renewed and thats it. Larry's is lowgrade dog food and don't tell me it isn't. Just because those two s***hole towns are flooded with hispanics don't tell me its authentic mexican food. Also if it wasn't for Sugar Land then yalls lifes would revolve around quail season and rainy days for mudding. Yall should be greatful that Sugar Land is getting bigger because it brings business to yalls stores and restaurants that yalls town can't. And quit knocking on our Asians/Indians because there the ones who will be representing you after yall get arrested on COPS for beating your wives or care for your kids in the hospitals after they get hurt playing out by the tracks.

Yeah, you sound like typical sugar land folk. You wouldnt know good BBQ if it bit you in the a$$. You guys are real quick to run down a small town, and much like the other yuppies, you sound like a real badass when crouched behind the monitor or inside your 80,000 dollar BMW. Do me a favor, quit runnin' your mouth, get off the dam cell phone, and get out of my way on the road.

I hope your children dont come to ros/rich with that attitude, sounds like a good way to get their asses kicked.

You make it sound like driving an 80K BMW is a bad thing.

Must suck to be unsuccessful...

Terry High School. He said days for quail hunting and mudding. Wow do days get any better than that. They also said our Mexican food isn't good. Woah don't even start on La Casona and Guanajuato. Don't even go there. When your taste is acquired from growing up on national restaraunt chains then i understand their lack of taste. I feel that I am better off growing up in a town that moves a little slower with simple people. I always loved the kids from sugar land who would come out to the county fair and try to act country. Stupid dumb city slickers. "Yay lets move out of the city move the concrete jungle of suburbia. I love my towns master planned"-Typical city slicker. I dont know what it is about sugar land and houston people, but people from katy aren't nearly as ignorant and they're from suburbia too. I think people that grew up in the city are just jealous that they are city slickers and they didn't grow up in a small town atmosphere.

Oh yeah and have any of you been to downtown Rosenberg lately. It's really being revamped. How bout downtown Richmond where the courthouse is, and Morton street. Nice area.

We don't have some fake-ass town square that was just build like 3 years ago. Our has history and grew with the community.

Your right, I am a badass behind a monitor but not with a 12-guage. First I don't drive a BMW, its a Mercedes so get you and your sheep trailor carrying a** in the right lane. And whats this about me not knowing what real BBQ is just b/c I grew up 4 miles from you? I guess your saying yalls BBQ sucks since I paid one of yalls restaurants some respect or can you not read well like we can b/c of our FAR superior school district. Also, don't get mad b/c all of our restaurants don't bring you chips and salsa when you sit down and that we can count past five using our teeth.

And aggiedave, you know that your not successful unless you can catch a calf at the rodeo scramble or raise a prize winning cow. Success in Rosenberg is not measured by the price of the car you drive but by the size of the lift you have on your truck.

They use 'gardners'?? Do they do ANYTHING themselves? So when people in sugar land want to have babies, do they have the gardner do that too? Maybe thats why your kids look like your gardners kids, aggivedave16.
