I often park to the right of these signs downtown for Astros games (after 6p). I've never been towed, but I'm curious if I'm interpreting them correctly.

Top left sign: cannot park to the left, that's obvious.
Top right sign: cannot park to the right 6-8AM or 3-6PM, MON-FRI. Any other time, you can park.
Bottom sign: Commercial Vehicle Zone to the right. Non-commercial vehicles cannot park.

I take this to mean, non-commercial vehicles cannot park 6-8AM or 3-6PM, MON-FR, but commercial vehicles can. Outside of those times, anybody can park.

But it could also mean, non-commercial vehicles cannot park anytime. Commercial vehicles can, but only outside of 6-8AM or 3-6PM, MON-FR.

Who knows but my secret DT spot is similar but the side that looks ok to park has a red curb and close to a hydrant. Haven't been ticketed but a helpful bum followed me a block once telling me I'd get a ticket.

I park where the white van is and the signs pointing towards are like yours prohibiting certain hours.

I think it means non-commercial vehicles can park to the right outside of the shown hours. Commercial vehicles can't park at anytime to the right of the sign.

Opposite. It's a "commercial vehicle zone". If you're not a commercial vehicle, you can't park there.

I park here usually. The right lane on McKinney St has like 7 spots that are suprisingly parking spots. Sadly with the redoing of the whole area, this spot will be destroyed soon.

This is my interpretation.

initention is to not have any vehicles park there during peak rush hours.

I've parked there or maybe on Walker and pulled between the cones of the guy trying to flag people into his lot for $30. He just asked me to pull forward so I wouldn't block his sign.

I confirmed with the city that this is correct. I guess I need to find a new spot.

If it's that spot on La Branch right before congress, I've seen people ticketed there and people get away with it. I usually just go take a right on Congress and park on the left which opens up at 6pm.
