Is anyone selling 1/2 price tickets for the carnival? Looking to buy and will support local.

Most of these performance must look up to Kevin Fowler as the grandfather of the group.

Guessing you've never been to the rodeo, the carnival is jammed up. Sometimes you can't even walk through it because there are so many people there.

How bad is the carnival nowadays? Haven't been since probably 2012. I have amazing memories from the carnival of the 80's and 90's...but obviously we are much more "third world" now. Would like to take my kid if there are any tips on days when it's not "as bad"? Is it always just a complete cluster F now?

Well I don't want to but the kids have a blast so we make do.

We buy 1/2 price tickets and get in and out early before the crowds get bad.

Leaving the concert semi-hammered, sorry not sorry but I can't walk through the carnival without trying to make a couple 3-pointers or knock over some milk bottles. The only difference between me and a 10 year old is I have money to waste on games.

Same. I wish some on here could have experienced the carnival as an 80's kid. Strapping into a big boy ride scared for your life while "Girl You Know It's True" or "Escapade" blares in the background. Excalibur and Texas Cyclone and Sky Screamer poppin off in the background, a quarter mile away. The smell of spilled beer, cigs and pipe smoke wafting through the dome.
