Forrest Frank walking out with Paul Wall was legit!

The kids loved Forest Frank. You can't help but like the guy.

I tried out Alto Saturday night for Dwight. I signed up for a free month and was able to prebook the trip with the ability to modify it up to an hour before. Pick up was at the holiday inn which meant preride drinks and during ride drinks. The price you see when you book doesnt include the 18% fee or tell you there is a $25 fee outside of the zone. There is also no way to tip the driver, who was very accommodating to us. I ended up venmoing him.

Sunday we parked around smithlands and that is just a fantastic spot. Cheapish parking, very walkable and even better leaving. The crowd Sunday was a whole vibe and even though the weather sucked we had a great time. It helps that 50% of a sold out crowd is less than 5' with narrow shoulders.

Don't really have a dog in the fight, but does the Rodeo usually have that of an overtly Christian concert?

They have recently. Lauren Dagel has played a couple of times, and Third Day are who I can think of right now. There was another that I can't think of his name, but my kids really liked him and we saw him at least 10 years ago. The Rodeo is trying to hit everyone's taste in music.

For King & Country played a few years ago as well.

Ha, still plenty of Cold Miller Lites to be had.

Right...I get that there have been Christian nights before--Lauren Daigle and For King and Country seem to be more mainstream than Forrest Frank, having been on American Idol and other similar shows.

Have previous Christian nights all been like Sunday night's concert where Forrest prayed, shared the Gospel, and offered the opportunity to pray for salvation, and video boards showing people raising hands worshipping Jesus?

Good morning Ladies and Gents.. Been following along the thread a bit for tips but wanted to ask directly for some advice. Taking my VERY pregnant wife to the rodeo next Tuesday to see RCS and looking to minimize her walking as much as possible. Probably our last chance to see them for awhile once baby #2 is here, and she is adamant about still going.

Coming from the north side of town, and likely right after work at the earliest for timing and direction context... Willing to do a park in ride, or pony up money for a parking pass. Looking for any tips or tricks.

Here's what we did last Sunday that was pretty great. There is a Wyndam Hotel at the corner of Kirby and Westridge (SW corner). It was $40 but maybe cheaper on a weeknight. It was a very short walk right to the stadium. Will look sketchy but it wasn't.

Damn. Didn't know that. We parked at the dealership at the corner of kirby/610. Would have done Wyndam if I knew that...If you can, snag/borrow a handicap placard and park right by the stadium. Dudes on bikes can drive y'all if you didn't want to walk. They'll negotiate but they'll start at probably $20/person

Be careful about those $40 private lots.

I saw a blurb on Grizzy News that someone went through one of those lots and busted out a whole bunch of windows and ransacked cars.
