There's room to do some of that now, at least for the realistic number of people who would want to stay on the grounds paying marked-up prices for booze after exiting the stadium. But Cal would have to lead with an initiative and the county would have to agree to it.Quote:

I think part of the reason we haven't seen more 'entertainment district' type growth around the stadiums is the desire of owners to keep money spent on gameday inside the stadium. Crane is changing that some, but only because he'll control the property across the street.
