Hey, go easy on him/her. Personally, I'd prefer all the Karen's stay home tomorrow.
Congrats on the worst possible commute in the Tine.jbanda said:
Live in Richmond/Katy area. Work in Mont Belvieu. I was planning on working from home but 2 in the field meetings were called. I made sure they were at 7 and 8am. I'll probably head back after.
Haha, I make the decisions I'm just seeing what other companies might be doing. We're at work FWIW.CDUB98 said:Premium said:
Anyone's work in the Houston area working from home tomorrow if that's a possibility?
It's just rain, Karen.

The lack of traffic coming in from Cypress to Galleria area was nice. Reminded me of Covid era.Panama Red said:

No. They will have delays because they all suck these days. But they will blame it on the weather. Just go get a $20 margarita from whatever took pappasitos place and enjoy your wait.
Someone has to eat the leftovers in the break room since all the secretaries stayed home.RK said:Wait, people went out on the roads this morning? #stayhomestaysafePanama Red said:

It snowed twice in Houston during the month of January, 1985.Quote:
The top Analog years are January's of 1985, 1978, 1966. If anyone is old enough to remember those years, they were some historic years for cold and snow in Texas.

Remember that freak freeze scare in March of 2014? 290 in the morning felt like a bowling lane. One my favorite Houston driving days in memory. Austin had some real problems, but the news coverage kept our roads nice and open. Fortunately, bar and restaurant employees appeared to be just about the only other people in Houston working that day.El Gallo Blanco said:The lack of traffic coming in from Cypress to Galleria area was nice.
