That used to happen to me during heavy rain. Turned out to be a breach in the pipe leading from our house to the water line. We got to pay to have it relaced. You may want to call a plumber to scope it.

Power went out here (Sienna) at about 5 and is still out...two tornado warnings, but neither threatened us.

Got a small electric generator that is powering the router, so I can at least use email. Cell service is down right now.

Had a dental appointment scheduled for 8, but that ain't happening.

Power flickering in Montgomery but still on. Fiber internet still holding strong after the first strong round. Strongest wave so far about to hit us in about 15 though

Hezog providing the information about that wind gusts moving around the EYE of the storm and telling us a time frame is helpful. It is helpful to get the information because right now on my RING cams is looks pretty manageable at my place in The Woodlands.

Those with long term history in Houston, is this the earliest a significant hurricane has come through? I suspected we were due this year, but was expecting around August. Might be a long season.

I've been here for 22 years, and I haven't seen anything like this before at least the last half of August.

Yes..needed to leave to be with my parents in SETX in case things got worse for them. They would need help getting out.

I am getting some rain now...drain seems to be working.

ABC 13 Herzog etc lost their stream...they were doing good.

Big winds here now at Lake Livingston and lots of white caps. Tops of tall pines swirling around like propellers as dead limbs bounce down on the roof. Shocked I still have power and satellite tv. Probably just jinxed it.
