Respectfuly, the SCW guys' point stands though. If he doesn't like their content offerings (be it weather or other on the website or twitter), he can seek weather reporting elsewhere. It's their website.

It is not about this actual storm, the problem is that in other posts, that has nothing to do with with this storm, they have made their posts about climate change, fully known…just do weather…keep their politics out of it…that is all, just weather.

My wife pointed out they both were pumping up Beryl as some outrageous unprecedented thing and something that will only get worse due to climate change, but then a week later are telling people not to worry.

I agree with them they are level headed on their forecasts, but they sensationalize the other stuff and then wonder why people are freaking out about this storm.

Yes it is…100%, however when it crosses the line from weather to and agenda, that is an issue…it no longer is about weather, it is is THEIR agenda.

So people are mad about meteorologists talking about climate change? Really?

Ummm…they have been over CO2 as being the reason, hence my post above and their sensitivity to anyone questioning them. I agree with you, but they are hardcore and "know" the reasoning and we have to accept as fact.

Then, respectfully, just use a weather app with a 10 day forecast and read the NHC website. You don't have to let them into your head.

What's the point of bringing it up, even if you believe in MMGW? What are we gonna do about it? Tax the middle class even more? While still allowing the biggest screamers to live in mega mansions right on the coast and fly private numerous times a year, enjoying the individual carbon footprint of probably a thousand families?

Any time the media is relentlessly pushing anything even remotely political, it should raise red flags.

Not a single one of these media people are bringing climate change up as in "the climate just always naturally changes"…it's ALWAYS man made climate change they are talking about.
