Almost every single break has gone against the Astros so far this year.

The Astros are closer in talent to the Yankees and Phillies than the Mariners, yet are 10 games back of the Mariners.

If everyone was healthy I would still believe that a playoff run is coming. But not with the injuries which have become laughable at this point.

Either this is the worst luck I've seen for any team in a long time, or the organization is slowly decaying and support functions have become very subpar, dragging down the inherited talent level with poor management and injuries.
(Post from 6/19 when we were 10 games back of Mariners)

This is why you play a long season.

The Astros were a better team than the Mariners even when 10 games back, just needed 162 games for the law of averages to even out.
