I got married 20 years ago with about $500 in the bank, student loans and nothing but a job offer that paid me $30k my first year.
The idea that everything needs to be 'perfect' financially before marriage is a thief of the joy of marrying young. Marrying young is a gift.
You'll be stronger financially together.
(This of course assumes that she is the 'one' you ought to marry. If she isn't the 'one' than I think its pretty clear that after 7 years its time to move on!)
