I wouldn't think this would be a problem. Pipes only burst when they are full and then expand with freezing temps. Your drain has two open ends, it should not be full. Now, if you have some kind of belly in the pipe that dips enough to hold water, it might cause an issue, but the water/ice can still expand towards the open sides. That would be a really exceptional case and your drains would need attention anyway if they are like this.

if you lose power for a significant amount of time and don't have a backup, i would consider draining

If you have a house with PEX or similar system you can cut that run to the bib at the manifold an then just open the faucet to release any water pressure in the line.

Several years ago, I think it was in the upper 30s and raining for most of it, IIRC. I think Hoyt Ag ran in that one. He posted a pretty good time too.

The last one with bad precipitations was 2013 I think. It's been dry the last several.

Very glad the one and only H-town marathon I did was perfect weather for me. I suck at running, so it would have just made the entire thing even more miserable.

First one I ever did, 2017, was pretty miserable. Hot and short downpour around the halfway point to ramp up the humidity.

My goal was under 5 hours. Well, I made it in at 4:58. LOL Had to negative split my last 8 miles to get there.
But that did include an emergency duece at Memorial park.
