Anybody know whether some of the tix available on SeatGeek include food & drink?
Heading to the show tonight, but trying to get there early in the afternoon. I'm assuming that the Yellow lot will still have space around 2:00 on a weekday. Has anyone used that lot on a weekday?
Should someone be called out for making such a mistake in booking such a weak act? Seems a disservice to patrons and guests and lost profits.
We parked in the yellow lot last Thursday around 4:30 and had no problem.
I am guessing a large number of the tickets are Season tickets and corporate sponsors. They will give away the tickets and people will still go just to go to the rodeo and carnival. They may or may not care who is performing. I am also guessing they know which night is their weakest in attendance already and put him on that night.agz win said:

They have a bar in the action seats section where the food is served, but it is not free/included w the ticket.

I'm not a rodeo boner - but do sh*tty acts effect the overall rodeo crowd & they just leave? Or does it fugg up the whole night?
I feel bad for the dude. He didn't seem like a bad guy at all on his Rogan episode. No idea what the rodeo was thinking, but it isn't his fault.

He has some fault for agreeing when he knew he didn't have the sound or the draw for a primary stage, big time performance. Whatever committee made this hire needs to relook at what their requirements should be in selecting acts for the future.
I'm sure season ticket holders will Jack up the attendance but would be interesting to see a guess of actual butts in seats.
If I had to guess, I would say cheeks in the seats was maybe 35% of capacity. He was actually better than I was expecting. I didn't feel like he got swallowed up by the stadium like I've seen with other smaller performers.
I had the complete opposite reaction. I was planning on only staying for a few songs, and then hitting the road early. We ended up staying for the whole thing. Yes, the show was unpolished and raw... but it had more heart & authenticity than 80-90% of the acts that I'd seen at the Rodeo before. And yes, while the crowd was small, they got into it and were super supportive of him.Dr. Horrible said:

Going into the show I only knew his Rich Men North of Richmond song, but I'm a fan now. I'm looking forward to downloading some of his music tomorrow.
I should clarify. When I said "wow this is bad", I wasn't talking about the performer himself as much as just how empty the empty stadium was. I don't think I'd ever been to a rodeo with that few people there.
He read scripture before he sang. He played barefoot in a T-shirt and shorts. His music was good. I stayed.

I went because of my curiosity of how he sounded live. It did not disappoint. His voice sounded awesome and I enjoyed how simple his band was, no giant production.
