I thought REK was done.

How come it's not a PRCA event?Quote:

It reminds me of when the Houston Rodeo was going through its 80s legacy rock phase in the late 00's. Big and Rich/Gretchen Wilson were big 15 years ago and I see a whole other group of names I havent seen since my dad showed me a list of Rodeo dates he can get free tickets to from vendors.Ferris Wheel Allstar said:how so?cajunaggie08 said:

They had an attendance of 1.5M last year. That's not small potatoes for San Antonio considering Houston had 2.4M.TXAG 05 said:
The SA rodeo can get away with less mainstream acts because they don't have to sell anywhere near as many tickets. Their arena tops out at around 18k seats.
Shane Smith/Randy Rogers/Charley Crockett are great, but they aren't putting 70k+ people in the seats.

Wasn't HLSR dropped from PRCA for a couple years? Or was that just extreme bulls?

Ashley McBryde didn't put 70k+ people in seats last year. Couldn't even give those tickets away.
No idea who that is, but pictures remind of me of a Gene Kelton song.Quote:

I wasn't at that one, but heard it set some records for worst attendance. I was at Leon Bridges a few years back and that was definitely the worst attendance I've seen personally. You would think the rodeo would have a little better pulse on who can fill a stadium.
They're playing Last Concert Cafe tomorrow night.RK said:

They are announcing the first half of performers tomorrow morning.
If they announce Jelly Roll on either this week's or next week's announcement, I am going to that one.
I am bored by the same ones that come every year.
My mistake. You are right, it is tomorrow night.TXAG 05 said:mnetop said:

Tomorrow morning? Did it change from the full lineup release tomorrow night?
