Katie's has excellent food but a lot of outdoors types don't like them because the owner lobbies against the recreational fishermen having the ability to fish the Gulf and "steal" from him by taking fish he should be harvesting.

Shrimp N Stuff is solid if not simple.

This. The last time I went there, the food was horrible. Even the burgers tasted like frozen, dry, microwaveable burgers.

Mosquito used to be my favorite place on the island. They got bought out or something, changed the menu a couple of times, and I've had 3 straight truly awful meals there. It's a tragedy.

That's a bummer. That was one of my favorite spots when I lived in the area. Everything I ordered was fantastic.

I ate at Gumbo Bar once. Once. Might not be there anymore. That was a while back.

Salsas back when it was in that strip center was solid. They use to have $2 margaritas which looking back should have been illegal.

When they move to that big location on seawall the food was never the same, imo
