In all honesty, while a lot of these girls looked really good, the didn't strike me as the kind you really want to date.

Not too bad on a weekday. Go before noon.
I believe it. Last night walking through the carnival was the thickest crowd I've been in in a very long time. The Hideout was packed as soon as John Pardi let out.Hwy30East said:
Not too bad. Mid day will be crowded and then it will die down before the evening rush for the Rodeo. Yesterday they had a new first Saturday record attendance with 136,600 come through the gates. Today is Go Tejano day, so it will be pushing that much again.
Think about volunteering for next year. You get a gold badge that can get you in to watch the rodeo. Or there are also volunteer clubs around that you can watch it from the club on the live feed. I did that Friday when I had no desire to go see Ricky Martin.swimmerbabe11 said:
if a person wanted to watch rodeo, but not concert, are there just day tickets for day events? I feel like I should know this but I dont. I enjoy the livestock shows and the rodeo events, but no desire to stay for concert.
talmbout. There's a bunch of great free exhibits for kids, give them something sugary around 11:00, ride or two at the carnival and you're on the highway with a wife screwing around on her phone riding shotgun, sleeping/zonked out kids in the back while you're one hand on the wheel, one hand teen-wolfing a turkey leg or carney stick-meat.Sea Speed said:ThunderCougarFalconBird said:

Yea we were thinking about heading up at like 0900 and going until kids die of exhaustion so we will get a nice peaceful ride home.
I know what you mean now that I was finally there for a nice weather night. Enjoyed the eye candy, for the most part. We were talking about it during the shift today with guys who have worked at the rodeo for years and grew up going, and everyone seemed to agree there definitely seem to be some new fashion trends. We used to have to go really classy joints to see girls dressed like that.ThunderCougarFalconBird said:
When did this cowgirl hooker look come into fashion? Girls ages 20-25 in short leather skirts, revealing tops, and tall cowboy boots everywhere.
This is literally the worst thing to happen to the rodeo this year.lancevance said:
Whats up with these hip hugging flared/bell bottom jeans the ladies are wearing?? IMHO, very unflattering on 95% of them.

Going Sunday. Whats the best place to park? Can you buy the ground tickets there the day of? What are some of the best things to do before the rodeo starts? I have never been.

You could do a sales committee, something like souvenir programs or an auction committee. It doesn't become about hours worked, but money raised, and you can do that on your own time off from work. Or join one of the committees that do all their work throughout the year instead of just in March. There is usually a committee for anyones schedule, it's just a matter of finding the right fit for what works for you.

My wife went last night with her gal friends and they hit up Trill Burger, as suggested by a friend. She said it was absolutely amazing and up there on the list of best burgers she's had. After looking it up this morning, she found out it's owned by Bun B.
She said it's next to Freebirds under the big white dinning tent area, closer to the wine garden. I'll have to hit it up when I finally get a chance to head up there.
it will be you and all the grade school kids taking class trips.Sea Speed said:
What timendoes everything open on the weekdays? Carnival, livestock show, arena etc etc. Is it lame to get there early on a weekday morning?
Who didn't see my ask for help finding a rookie to give money to…Ferris Wheel Allstar said:Dr. Horrible said:

This is great advice. There just so happens to be a chairman of an auction committee on this website….
