About 10 years ago there was a cash only place a block from I-69 (59) inner loop that was about $50 less than the nearest quote, but I can't locate it.

I haven't used them yet, but my regular service station guy recommended them, and it looks like they're substantially cheaper than anywhere else I shopped. They also said you can drop by w/ no appointment. I need to get over there this week.SJEAg said:
Pretty certain Affordable Auto Glass on Hillcroft/59 was recommended to me on here and perhaps what you're thinking of. They were definitely cheaper and the work was good.

Plus you can get tasty Persian food while you wait.
They're also like 2 or 3 times the price of anything else mentioned here.Bondag said:
Safelite works with insurance or AAA and will get it done.

What are the costs here on these places. Is there some reason nobody is saying how much they spent?
The cost depends on your vehicle. For my full sized truck, Affordable was $160 all in.Tabasco said:

doesn't help you right now, but look at adding glass coverage to your auto policy. Most auto carriers work with safelite and it's super easy to file a claim through them.
