It's basically the same as what the major counties have had in place. Not a big deal at all if you've been abiding by local requirements.

So no change at all for the major counties in the Houston area?
Quote:
Executive Order GA-2$ is hereby amended to delete from paragraph number 15 the phrase: ", but no jurisdiction can impose a civil or criminal penalty for failure to wear a face covering."
Not able to find that anywhere...doesn't matter though. My church isn't in Houston but it is in Harris County.jetch17 said:lunchbox said:

I thought Sly did earlier - online only
Other than Lena now limiting gatherings of 10 or more.gougler08 said:lunchbox said:

Where in this EO does he ban gatherings of 10+ people? All I'm seeing is a mask mandate

Does this effectively cancel summer camps and childcare? Many of those are groups larger than 10?
THIS.Aggie09Derek said:

That's not the way I read it. There were some exceptions that I didn't look up from a prior order, but it sure looks like gatherings of 10 or more are prohibited UNLESS the mayor or county judge approves it. Otherwise, groups of 10+ are banned.SoupNazi2001 said:ChemAg15 said:

He gave local county judges and mayors the ability to restrict gatherings of more than 10 people. Lina is typing it up now while smiling.

No. Those are in paragraph 1 of EO GA-28 which are specifically exempted from the 10 person ruleSoupNazi2001 said:

Yup. just went to read it.Ag06Law said:
There is a list of exceptions to the limit, just like with the last EO. Camps, daycares, little leagues, etc. are not subject to the 10 person limit.

so I assume churches that had opened will be cancelled again?
